I have been delightfully inspired by the past to design one-of-a-kind original hats...fashioned after the elegant Edwardian period to the flirty flapper girl era. I create them with new and vintage elements...beautiful pieces I have collected over the years. I call my hat designs...Nouveau Vintage....new hats with vintage style...hats with a life all their own...complete with their own butterfly wings to fly upon. Each hat is uniquely original in it's design...one-of-a-kind made especially for you...made with true love from my creative heart to yours.
I offer custom design work for my customers through this website, which is a portfolio of my work, so most hats have been sold. Being that I design custom pieces, I keep all of my designs posted here, so my customers can see what I can create and also use it as a guideline as to what they might want in their custom designed hat. My hats have been sold all over the world...they're living lives that I haven't indulged in...visiting countries I have yet to explore...they're fluttering the earth in beautiful flight...as butterflies always do. It drinks only nectar from the flowers and carries the seeds of love from one flower to another. Without butterflies, the world would soon have few flowers." answered the caterpillar in the cocoon. "How can I believe there's a butterfly inside you or me, when all I see is a fuzzy worm?" gasped the yellow caterpillar. "How does one become a butterfly?" she asked pensively. "You must want to fly so much, that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar."
